FaceFX Documentation and support
Ensures all animation audio paths are consistent for the current machine configuration.
FaceFX Studio stores relative and absolute audio paths for each animation. Relative paths are relative to the clientspec root. Preference is always given to the relative path. As long as the audio is found with the relative path, the absolute path is not typically updated.
Calling this command will operate on all animations in the actor, including mounted animation sets. If the relative path is found, the absolute path is updated. Otherwise the relative path is updated if the absolute path exists. Messages are printed to the log with all changes.
When audio is loaded from the absolute path because the relative path doesn’t exist, the user is given the option to run this command from the GUI.
Since absolute paths can become stale over time, it can be useful to call this command prior to changing the clientspec root.
